Going Open
"After the church was set up, we felt prompted to go out and openly proclaim the goodnews of the Lord to our community. We were not only to wait for souls to turn up at our doors but we were responsible to go fish them out.

We conducted an Open Air Gospel meeting into the community and a handful of souls were won to the Lord. We were to learn that, that was the first ever such meeting to be held in this village. Historically, this community strongly believes in witchcraft, supersitition, and lives in fear of ancestral spirits and clan gods, religion is also a strong obstacle to the gospel. So much prayer is needed to break down these strongholds so that people begin to cultivate a genuine personal relationship with their Maker.
